For the final project of Animation Basics, the class was tasked with putting on a talent with a cast of their own design. Each student constructed a character that would perform a unique talent (to varied success) for at least 45 seconds. In wanting to create a slightly squishier version of the Pixar Lamp, I designed Flit, a fake tea candle that was eager to show off his "fire making" abilities.
Flit was modeled and animated in Autodesk Maya, then brought to Adobe After Effects for sound editing.
